Abstract
Relations between assimilated potassium levels and 15 physical-chemical properties of 227 samples on olive-grove soil in the area of La Loma (Jaén) are studied.
The best correlations are between potassium and calcium carbonate (negative) and between potassium and porcentage of nitrogen and organic carbon (positive).
Between the minerals and assimilated potassium the correlations have not been very significant, but the negative sign in the correlation with illite and limestone, and the positive with montmorillonite is pointed out.
Key words: assimilated potassium, carbonated olive-grove soils, statistic analysis.
