Abstract
Total amounts of As, Bi, Co, Cr, Ni, Pb, Sn and Zn of two soils in Campillos on the Province of Málaga were determined. Two methods of analysis were used, the BCR method and one based in the total analysis of soils samples by neutrons activation and acid attack.
Correlation coeficients are high and significative between both methodologies for As, Co, Cu, Cr and Zn while not for the other elements.
The characteristics of the soils that are better correlationed with the total amounts of the metals in soil were pH, EC, CEC, fine sand, very fine sand and clay.
Key words: Trace elements. Total analysis. Sequential extraction.
